What we do

MindSpace Stamford has a variety of different events for everyone with warm and friendly safe place for all.

All of our activities are free of charge, however, if you are able to do so, a suggested donation of £2 per professionally led activity - yoga, boxing, etc; or whatever you can afford, is gratefully received. 

All donations, big or small, really count towards the continuing work of MindSpace Stamford.

Boxing for Wellness

Weekly - Tuesday & Thursday

A fun boxing (non contact) exercise class open to all abilities run by local boxing coach Marc. A really approachable class allowing anyone to come and be active and enjoy company while getting your heart rate up. It runs every Tuesday & Thursday from 10 -11 am at Stamford Boxing Club off West Street.


Walk Leader


2:30 pm

Weekly - Wednesday

A weekly Wednesday afternoon walk through Burghley park. Walk and talk with friendly welcoming people, enjoy the outdoors and fresh air. All weathers, all welcome, suitable for wheels and canine friends. Meet at Evergreen on Barnack Road and enjoy a free cuppa and cake afterwards if you have time.

MindSpace Yoga

Yoga is proven to effectively treat pain, improve cognitive function and effectively treat stress and also help people with depression.
Our qualified yoga teachers believe that everyone can benefit from yoga in some way.
The positive conclusions about Yoga for people with depression include:
• Improving aspects of mood
• Improved emotional and cognitive functioning
• A decrease in the stress hormone measured through salivary cortisol levels at certain times of the day.

Drop in cafe

12pm & 7:00 pm

Weekly - Monday & Thursday

Come along and chat, connect and relax. Play a board game or get your nails done or sit and read with a cuppa on the sofa. Everyone is welcome and it is a safe space to come and know you are not judged and can come as you are whatever day you might be having.

Monday cafe is from 12pm until 2pm

Thursday cafe is 7pm until 9pm

Art Therapy

Weekly - Monday

Art Therapy is a form of Psychotherapy where clients are supported to use art materials as a means of expression and communication. Art is used to address a wide range of emotional issues which may be confusing and distressing. Suitable for anyone feeling depressed, anxious, isolated, stressed or overwhelmed. No Artistic skills required.
This group will be facilitated by Kate Hilliard, a qualified art therapist, with over 18 years experience of working in mental health, education and private practice.



Community Cinema

7:15 pm

Monthly - Saturday

Surround sound cinema in a relaxed atmosphere with light refreshments and popcorn​. It runs on first Saturday of the month. Movie is announced at the door
